Rohan Murphy lost his legs at birth; a congenital double bilateral amputation.
Ability:
A natural athlete, he started to wrestle his freshman year of high school. After a successful high school wrestling career, he went on to wrestle at Penn State University, started power lifting and competing in international competitions all over the world representing the USA. As a motivational speaker, he has been spreading his message of strength over adversity and encouraging other young people to live out their own dreams despite any odds.
Rohan has been featured in publications such as ABC news, Sports Illustrated, and many more. He was even featured in his very own Nike commercial to motivate and inspire people to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.
Now Rohan is a professional motivational speaker. He has recently been hired through the Project VisAbility program by Gold’s Gym of Islip, Deer Park and Smithtown NY to work with and inspire club members and promote inclusive fitness.
